ADT Standards Development and Implementation

Autodesk® Architectural Desktop is a powerful application that will generate accurate Schematic, Design and Production drawings.  The application does not do it by magic or slight of hand, but through the careful use of standards and best practices.  These standards are not typically "shrink-wrapped" in any application, and can vary from office to office.   Cadmin assists companies in documenting and entering their standards and best practices into Architectural Desktop allowing for a quick and effective technology transition.

i-drop™ Content Development

i-drop is a new technology invented by Autodesk which enables designers and developers to create web content with the ability to drag and drop design content from a web page directly into your design.  Cadmin has been heavily involved with Autodesk's effort in developing on-line content for PointA.

i-drop can be used to present manufacturing specific information to customers.  Imagine the ability to publish data that will allow designers to easily import specific design data from manufacturers into AutoCAD and Autodesk Architectural Desktop.  Not only importing the graphical and style-based values, but even non-graphical information for specifications, scheduling, and detailing. I-Drop makes all this possible.

i-drop can also be used as a project data server.  Provide information to designers and draftsmen that are specific to the project they are working on.

Application Development

A properly developed application has a specific set of stages in its lifecycle that it must go through.  This lifecycle assures that the small oversights and/or omissions, that can mean the difference between the success and failure of a project, are not overlooked.  Cadmin has the experience to see a project through all the various stages of development.
