Standards
Home Products Services VBA for ADT

The implementation and Organization of Cad Standards is an integral and time-consuming task.  The task must, however, be completed at some level before any successful implementation of technology takes place.  Architectural Desktop, being as powerful and flexible as it is, can overwhelm an office in inefficiencies if not approached from a standards viewpoint.

Initially, it is imperative to  organize where the drawings will exist, how they will be displayed.  Then what will be drawn, how will it be drawn, and finally, what will it look like when it is sent to the plotting device.

Standards development follows the same flow of thought...

  • File Management/Project Organization Structure
  • Layer and Display Standards
  • Style and Content Standards
  • Plotting Standards

Each of the above items creates the framework of a successful Cad Technology implementation with Architectural Desktop.  Cadmin has assisted several small and large customers on various levels with this process.
